REVIEW: Budget Capture Card From Lazada

Have I told you, Bingers? The five month lockdown has made me re-evaluate my content creation plan. When everything was still normal, I was a Pop Culture x Lifestyle content creator. I regularly attended movie premieres, reviewed food establishments, and featured products. But when COVID-19 happened, that changed a lot! Particularly my pop culture side as a content creator. Events were put on hold and cinemas were closed. Movie premieres were cancelled all through out. In fact, the weekend the lockdown started, I was supposed to go to the advanced screening of A Quiet Place: Part 2 but then I received an email the day before saying that it was cancelled. To keep up with the times to still create content, I turned my eye onto vlogging and now, livestreaming my Nintendo Switch games. I did my research and every livestreamers need to have the right equipment, especially a capture card.

LOOK: Moira Dela Torre Is the New Voice of Mulan's 'Reflection'

Bingers, are you also looking forward to the 2020 live adaptation of Walt Disney’s Mulan? I do! In fact, Mulan is my most favorite Disney movie EVER! I watched it countless times and I know the songs by heart! So, when I learned that the live-adaptation will not include the songs that we loved, I was heartbroken. I changed my mind, however, when I saw the trailer because it made sense that they did not include the songs. That does not mean that we are not going to hear them. Disney Philippines collaborated with Moira Dela Torre, the most streamed Filipino artist, for a localized version of Reflection from Mulan. We were at the launch and heard it firsthand. Read for more details.

REVIEW: Find Your Adventure in Onward

Do you still have the magic, Bingers? In the latest movie from Disney and Pixar, Onward, we’ll realize that we still got the magic, it’s just that no one bothers to do it anymore when there is a much more convenient way. And because of that, we have been so gotten used to the familiar and what’s right in front of us. In the world of Onward where the centaurs, pixies, and elves are no longer how we used to know them, lies an unexpected treasure waiting to be uncovered. We joined the adventure of the Lightfoot brothers and found ourselves falling off our seats from laughing one second and sobbing after. Read more about REVIEW: Find Your Adventure in Onward

REVIEW: Sonic The Hedgehog Breaks The Video Game Curse

Let’s backtrack a little, Bingers. Can you name a videogame turned movie that was a success, or at least fun to watch? Hardly, right? On top of my head was Detective Pikachu but it is debatable because it was inspired by a Pokemon game. The old Mortal Kombat and Mario movies were cringe-worthy that I just decided to throw them at the back of my mind. The recent Assassin’s Creed was so-so. It seems like there really is a curse to video games turned movies, that they are always bound to fail. To be honest, this is not surprising because of the difference in medium. Last weekend, however, I was greatly surprised with Sonic The Hedgehog! To me, it broke the video game curse. Wanna know why? Read our review, Bingers .
