What for you is a perfect weekend? For me, it is attending a concert and vibing with good music! And yes, that’s how I spent last weekend. My friends and I attended Pamungkas & Scrubb: Live in Manila at the 123 Block in Mandala Park. It was also a celebration of Gabi Na Naman’s 10th Anniversary so it was an exciting and memorable concert! Here’s what you missed:
For a 10th Anniversary concert, Gabi Na Naman Productions delighted the fans with a solid lineup. The Ridleys kicked off the night with their music. I was not familiar with their game going in but I did find myself swaying to their songs. After their set, Shirebound took the stage. My friends have been telling me that their music is good and I liked it as well. It sounded like something I would listen to late at night when I am looking back at my day. It has that vibe. By 9PM, the headliners started to serenade us. Pamungkas performed his hit songs and some from his recently released fifth album, Hardcore Romance. I was lowkey expecting songs in Bahasa but to my delight, most of it are in English. I enjoyed it more than I should have. After a 13-song set, Scrubb closed the night. It was my second time watching the Thai duo.
With this show, GNN continued to bring memorable and one-of-a-kind experience to music lovers. I can’t wait to see what they are going to produce next!
