The Flavors and Stories of Bataan
Let’s start 2019 with travel, history, and stories, Bingers! So, got any upcoming travel plans to welcome the year? In this stormy weather, most likely, many of us would want to just stay at home and cozy up for the remaining days of our holiday break. But once the sun starts to shine again, you might want to head up north and indulge in the beauty and history of Bataan. Last December, Bataan Tourism, invited me along with other blogger to witness Pawikan Festival and take the best of what the province has to offer along the way. Hawker Chan Philippines Brings Singapore to Your Plates
Name one Filipino trait that everybody does whenever they visit a new place or country. One that is on top of my head is looking for a unique dining experience that is both exceptional and fit for the budget. My friends have been raving about this one restaurant that they frequented in Singapore. Hawker Chan made a name for itself for its great-tasting yet unbelievably affordable food. Michelin’s Singapore Guide recognized it in July 2016 as the cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant in the world!
Alright, now that we know all these credentials that the restaurant has, you might be asking, “now what?” Well, I’m not going to keep you waiting. Here is the tea: Hawker Chan is now open in the Philippines. Filipinos will no longer have to fly all the way to Singapore just to experience their best-seller, soy chicken. We attended their media launch last July 25 and here is our early take on the restaurant!

My Pawsome Chinese New Year at Le Village Lifestyle Park
When we say Chinese New Year, every Filipino would instantly be reminded of tikoy, hopia, and angpao! Well, a large part of the Filipino culture is inspired by Chinese. There is even a running joke that every Filipino has a trace of Chinese blood in them. With that said, it is given that even non-Chinese Filipinos do celebrate Chinese New Year. For this year’s celebration, I joined Fruitas Holding’s Le Village Lifestyle Park‘s celebration of the said event.

4 Keto-Friendly Store-bought Snacks
Before 2017 ended, I promised myself that I will be taking my workouts and lifestyle more seriously. I frequent the gym last year and even enrolled at Pound for Pound for my WODs (workout of the day). Some Circuit, a bit of crossfit, and weightlifting showed results but I am still far from the figure that I was trying to achieve. In December, my friend introduced me to an emerging diet that made her lose weight quickly! The Keto Diet has a growing community in the country. I researched the what and whatnots of the diet and found out that giving up sweets is a huge part of it! Read more about 4 Keto-Friendly Store-bought Snacks …
Cerebrew: A Haven For Students and Freelancers
As a copywriter by day and a blogger by night (and even day, sometimes), creative block is no joke! It is as real as it gets! Bloggers Night at Chatsi Coffee House & Beanery
There is a new hang-out spot in the South! As a Laguna kid, my family and friends’ go-to place is Nuvali, Paseo de Sta.Rosa, or Tagaytay. Well, no surprise there because it has everything we need- cafes, restaurants, and open spaces. But I also know that it is best to avoid those areas this holiday season because the traffic is horrible. Good for us, Chatsi Coffee House & Beanery is very accessible. On top of that, they serve great food! They served us their best dishes and drinks from the menu during the Bloggers Night and I can’t wait to share them all with you!
